MY LITTLE COSY CORNER.
As I'm sure you all know by now, making things as cosy and calming as possible is something I love to do... and that's especially true when it comes to my bedroom– the space where I sleep and relax and spend time being creative (guess where I'm currently writing this post!). I've always wanted to make sure it's a place I feel safe and calm and happy, having a space like this I can come to when I need to is so important to me.
I love changing things around and sharing pictures of my room on Instagram and I love that you guys seem to love it too! So I thought I'd share more pictures & details of what it's looking like at the moment plus what makes up my space...
My bedside table is actually this step stool from Ikea (I found the idea of using it as a bedside table on Pinterest!) ... on here I keep the pile of books I'm currently reading, a candle & room spray from PF Candle Co, a hand cream which I use before bed (most of the time a lip balm too) & the rings and watch I wear most often!
My bed frame is also from Ikea it's this one... & I just wrapped some fairy lights around the headboard! My wall decor is something that changes all of the time but I always keep my moon phase hanging which my sister made for me (I believe she found a DIY tutorial on Pinterest!) On my wall at the moment I have some polaroids; a postcard; a bit of the packaging from a candle which I thought was pretty; a little picture of the moon in a frame and this print from Dirty Works Designs in a frame.
Also on my wall; I have a couple more postcards; a nice piece of Japanese art that I found online & my Cambridge map from Mapiful...
I'm one of those people who sleeps with A LOT of blankets, pillows and cushions so there's always a random selection of things on my bed– in these pictures though...the tassle cushion is from H&M home as is the linen duvet cover & the cream and black striped throw is from Tiger.
And that's what makes up my my favourite cosy corner at the moment! I think I've mentioned everything and linked everything I can but if you have any questions about anything please don't hesitate to leave them in the comments & as always thank you for reading!
