SAYING GOODBYE TO 2017 + A PHOTO DIARY.

I can't believe it's time to say goodbye to another year— as with most other years 2017 has been a mixed bag— this time last year I was hoping 2017 would be a year to really bloom but to be honest a lot of the time it felt like taking one step forward two steps back. But there has been a lot of good amongst the not so good and I want to use this space to focus on the good... 

I turned 24; read 40 books; went to my favourite place in the world, New York, for a second time; lost two stone and took steps toward looking after myself better; saw my two favourite musicals on stage; ran 5K for charity; saw one of my favourite bands, Mumford and Sons, play live; hit 50 thousand and then 100 thousand followers on instagram & visited Amsterdam, another of my favourite cities, for the second time.

My favourite moment of the year was seeing Hamilton on Broadway while we were in New York— story time— I wasn't really expecting to get the chance to see it, everyone knows how expensive tickets are and how hard they are to get hold of, so one day after wandering around the MOMA we wandered to the Richard Rodgers theatre and found there was a cancellation queue so when people didn't turn up there was a chance of getting tickets. We waited in the queue for probably an hour and when it was almost time for the show to start they started letting people from the cancellation queue in. I was so excited/nervous thinking I might actually get a chance to get in! I was at the front of the line when they said they had one space left, it was a standing ticket but it was only $40 (!!!) so I literally ran in, it honestly felt like such a dream come true, it was one of the most special moments of my life.
